FilmTec™ TW30-2540

FilmTec™ TW30-2540 Elements are the industry standard for reliable operation and production of the highest quality water in commercial applications. FilmTec TW30-2540 elements are tape-wrapped—built with the same high quality membranes and materials of construction as industrial elements, except for the hard outershell, and are more economical for commercial systems with one or two elements per housing. It may be cleaned over a wide pH range (pH 1 – 13) for the most effective cleaning.

FilmTec™ Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis < 4" Elements can separate salts from water and are produced with an automated fabrication process for precision, consistency, and reliability. They are ideal for use in small-sized water treatment systems that produce less than approximately 1 gpm (230 L/h) of permeate. Our RO membranes build on a tradition of leadership in the thin-film composite membrane industry and meet the challenges of higher rejection in lower-pressure operations.

a. Maximum temperature for continuous operation above pH 10 is 95°F (35°C).

b. Refer to Cleaning Guidelines in specification sheet 609-23010.
c. Under certain conditions, the presence of free chlorine and other oxidizing agents will cause premature membrane failure. Since oxidation damage is not covered under warranty, it is recommended that residual free chlorine be removed by pretreatment prior to membrane exposure. Please refer to technical bulletin 609-22010 for more information
