CSM NE4040-40 High Productivity Nanofiltration Element, 4" x 40"
Nanofiltration membranes allow for different rejections: monovalent and divalent. It is possible to permeate selectively due to this feature. The main applications are PR solutions, dyes, special chemicals, expensive raw material recovery and pretreatment for removing parts of monovalents: Tone-ions and rejecting divalent Tone-ions in seawater processes.
- Each membrane element supplied with one brine seal, one interconnector (coupler) and four o-rings.
- All NE4040 elements fit nominal 4.0 inch (102 mm) I.D. pressure vessels.
General Features:
- Permeate flow rate: 2,100 GPD (7.9 m3/day)
- Monovalent ion rejection (NaCl): 20.0 – 40.0%
- Effective membrane area: 85 ft2 (7.9 m2)
*See NE4040-40 Spec Sheet for test conditions
