Engineering Note: The PX-30 is a positive displacement isobaric energy recovery device for seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) systems. It transfers hydraulic energy from the high-pressure RO concentrate stream to the incoming low-pressure seawater feed, achieving up to 98% energy transfer efficiency with no external power input. The single ceramic rotor design has no valves, diaphragms, or check valves, resulting in minimal maintenance and 60,000+ hour MTBF. Array configurations (U, Z, or T manifolds) scale to any plant capacity.
